A Winter Adventure in Poland

HorsesA winter adventure in one of Europe’s last great unspoiled natural areas.

The flexible tour normally starts from Vilnius. (Some tours may not include Lithuania and will start and finish in Warsaw). The World Heritage Site capital of Lithuania is a captivating, walkable city of fine architecture, oddities and charm. End your tour in historic Warsaw, with its beautifully restored old town, elegant architecture (as well as Stalinist reminders) and its vibrant nightlife.

Enjoy local hospitality which reflects the unique regional culture and cuisine. Stay in warm, cosy, high quality en-suite lodges. Excellent catering is sourced from local natural produce, made with pride and an emphasis on local specialities.

Expert local guides lead us to areas not normally accessible. The forests and marshes are fragile wildernesses and we are keen to respect the environment and ecology of these wonderful places. Learn how to identify fresh tracks in the snow. We could see Wolf, Bison, Elk, Beaver, Otter, Wild Boar, Red and Roe Deer, Fox, Lynx and a variety of birds, such as the white tailed eagle and the Great Grey Shrike.

CandlesHistoric sites – such as the old Jewish ‘Stetl’ of Tykocin.

We welcome singles, couples, groups of friends or whole parties. Tours will normally consist of a maximum of 12 persons. These 7 night tours are normally from Saturday to Saturday, reaching Warsaw in time for late afternoon flights home. For those wishing to stay on in Warsaw, accommodation can be arranged.

We are also happy to discuss alternative arrangements for small groups and we will do our best to try and meet your requirements.

Tours exclude travel to and from Poland. We will meet you on arrival. Vilnius and Warsaw are both now easily accessible from a number of UK airports with low cost operators. Road travel is by comfortable modern minibus. All tour transport, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinners included. Incidental refreshments and alcoholic drinks are not included. Some activities will incur an additional charge, payable locally. All activities are optional and you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Temperatures can occasionally fall to -10° Centigrade or below, so suitable clothing will be necessary. It has to be fairly cold for some activities to be possible (and safe!).

CastleWe are happy to provide advice and discuss any individual needs.
